Pitch and Tone Directed/written by Joseph and Ross Cashiola Comedy (Mumblecore) 2007 | 52m | USA www.fourbirdspictures.com Synopsis: A young man, new to the city of Chicago, places an ad looking for an old piano, and in the process finds himself inextricably involved in the personal lives of the strangers he meets. About the Directors: Joseph Cashiola began writing and directing short films in High School in Frederick County, MD. He attended La Salle University in Philadelphia and earned a degree in Creative Writing. The film short Pitch And Tone,which he co-wrote with his brother Ross, demonstrates his interest in character development and impromptu scene construction. He currently lives in the basement of a small house in Baltimore with no front or back yard.
Ross Cashiola is a songwriter, sculptor, and filmmaker currently dividing his time between the open skies of Austin, TX and the cluttered cold of Chicago, IL. He sings and writes songs in the band Hotel Brotherhood which was started as a musical project by Ross and his brother, as well as long time collaborator and composer Sam Wagster. Currently he is fabricating sets and making props for Robert Rodriguez's latest feature at Troublemaker Studios in Austin.
