About the film:
A man moves to the country to write and happens upon a strange discovery in his back yard. The initial distraction caused by this mystery becomes an obsession marked by visions and nightmares that ultimately become his inspiration.

About the filmmaker:
Unearthed was written, directed, and edited by Alexander Atkins, and is his Junior Thesis Production for The Conservatory of Film at Purchase College, State University of New York. A Dean’s List student, Atkins is also the recipient of The Charles and Lucille King Foundation Scholarship, a national award for students studying television and film. Alex is also employed as a Creative for Apple Retail, where he teaches lessons and workshops in everything from basic computing to advanced video editing.
