About the filmmaker: Angela is 4th generation Chinese Singaporean. In her teens, she moved with her family to Australia, where she also earned her bachelors degree in Architecture. She worked many years as an Architect prior to attending graduate film school. Eat Rice, her 1st film, was awarded the 2003 UFVA Carole Fielding Student Grant in the Narrative category. Angela, a MFA Directing alum of UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television, currently resides in Los Angeles. She is available for film and design-related work worldwide.
