Nightlife | Mockumentary Directed by: Tim Sanderson 2007 | 1h 21m | USA Being a vampire kinda sucks. At least that's the premise of this mockumentary comedy in which a small film crew follows six of the undead in their night-to-night lives.Forget about capes, they dress just like us. They watch a lot of bad TV. They're more concerned with paying the rent on time than they are with crossing Van Helsing. However, everyone has enemies, and our subjects are no exception. Enter the vampire hunters; comic book loving geeks who have made it their mission to vanquish these demons of the night with signature homemade weapons. When these two sides come fang to face things get pretty ugly, but for all concerned parties it's just another day in the everlasting battle between good and evil.
Screening Times: Whitaker Lab Auditorium Wednesday, 9:15 pm / Thursday, 9:00 pm
About the Director: Tim Sanderson has been making films since he was twelve years old; many of them with his long time friend, and fellow director/screenwriter, Darren Scharf. Never having much money, he quickly learned how to improvise and make the most of what he had. Tim had to teach himself everything, and has been writing, directing, lighting, editing and working the camera since his first film. Tim has also worked on other films in Texas and New York doing everything from production assistant to cinematographer and more. Tim shot some early films on 16mm, but has since switched to the more versatile digital medium. Nightlife is his first feature film and the result of all the tricks of trade he learned over the years.
