While studying a BA in Communications (Marketing Major) at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Scott's passion for independent film led him to begin a relationship with New-York based production company Velveteen Films. He assisted with publicity for the US release of their first feature film A Touch of Fate, starring Desperate Housewives Teri Hatcher. Scott then assisted on-location with publicity for the company's next feature, Shooting Livien, starring Jason Behr, Dominic Monaghan and Australian actress Sarah Wynter. He produced the EPK for the film (included on the US DVD release), and was also the publicist for the film's Australian release. Scott is currently the publicist for Velveteen's next feature, Hickory Nation, starring Molly Sims & Aimee Teegarden. Scott’s first short film, Selling Hopkins, has emerged as an audience favorite, winning awards and gathering rave reviews internationally.
