The SSFI presents monthly film screenings of Independent Films.
WHO: SouthSide Film Institute hosts this event, which is open to the public.
WHAT: Each third Thursday of the month, the SSFI presents a socially conscious film that merits viewing and discussion. Our purpose is to give venue to pertinent and well-crafted documentary films that unfortunately do not have a market in mainstream cinema. Admission is free. See what's playing this month. (Note: SSFI does not host 3rd Thurs. screenings in June and December.)
WHERE: Victory Firehouse at 205 Webster Street. From 3rd Street, turn north (toward the river) onto Webster Street. Go one block through the stop sign, and Victory Firehouse is the grey building with red trim on your right. Enter driveway for ample parking. Look for SSFF Venue sign.

WHEN: Doors open at 6:45PM; Screening begins at 7:15PM
WHY: Third Thursday Film Club may be your only opportunity to see these films! Third Thursday Film Club is a communal event designed to enhance awareness of independent films, important issues and local community efforts in dealing with issues. And sometimes it's just a lively discussion about a good film. This is just one of many screening programs the SSFI intends to cultivate through the years. As an organization we are not advocating the content in any film, nor are we partisan to any political group. Our organization stands by our mission to provide the viewer with choice and the opportunity to see high quality independent cinema in a great community setting. These films are free, sponsored by the members of the SouthSide Film Institute.
Donations to the organization are gratefully accepted at these events.
Thank you to our Third Thursday Film Club Sponsors: Eric Arnson and Mike Gausling
